Suri Cruise spent the summer at the height of the plate holder of fashion in the streets of New York City, but it looks like it will be paying the California sun over the coming months as she has enrolled in the Academy New Village Leadership in Calabasas. Yep: Suri Cruise is to Scientology school.
Scientology has played a significant role in Suri's life from his birth day of silence (no Scientologists claim that the word process to keep premature babies suffering from pain, stress and fear), so it's not particularly surprising that the indoctrination as Cruise includes small classes, which use Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard's "study tech" methods.
You wonder just what goes into a "study technology" classroom? According Laist, you start the day with a set of tasks to complete before the day is over. The list may include a series of short lessons on a variety of concepts, all of which can be further explored using tactile elements such as clay. Oh, and there is probably some sort of star chart of gold reached somewhere in the classroom. Sounds pretty normal, right?
Well, the fact that yawning is interpreted as a physical sign that the student has not understood a word. Hmm. We hope Suri is not the time difference of Fashion Week in New York.
If the New Village Leadership Academy sounds familiar, it's because Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett-Smith, threw a lot of money in school administration in 2008 (both refused to join the Church of Scientology ). Suri will share the hallways with Jaden and Willow Smith, of course.
